Rayser Holdings acquired Memorials by Michel, a monument company located in Solon, Iowa, on May 27, 2026. Memorials by Michel has served families throughout the Johnson and Linn County communities for decades. The acquisition expands Rayser Holdings’ Midwest Memorials brand and strengthens its presence in Eastern Iowa. Memorials by Michel will continue serving the Corridor while joining Des Moines Winterset Memorials under the Midwest Memorials brand umbrella.
The two companies share a focus on compassionate service, local relationships, and handcrafted quality in the memorial and monument industry. Memorials by Michel will keep its public-facing name as it becomes part of Rayser Holdings’ employee-owned community.
